For the past three years I have worked inside a place called The Farmland. It is right in the center of my town where I live. Farmland is a grocery store, deli and a bakery, which is the department I work in, called Giulio's Bakery. At first I wasn't excited to work at a bakery because I didn't know what to expect. My sister works there as well which is why I thought it would be a good idea to start working there. I figured I wasn't going to like it because it was constantly busy and I had to take orders for customers and deal with pasties and cakes. After working there for a while I realized I loved it. I never thought I would have been interested in working with food. For the most part it didn't even feel like a job it was more fun. I learned how to decorate different cakes and cookies. I also learned how to make a ton of different Italian pasties which was really cool because my family is all about Italian food. Dealing with customers is never easy but I now love to decorate things and play around with different foods. When dealing with food people are really tough. They like everything their way and you have to make sure you accommodate their needs. I think it will defiantly help me deal with certain situations when I'm older because when becoming a teacher, parents are never easy when it comes to their children. Learning how to deal with difficult people will defiantly come across in the field of Education which is defiantly beneficial.

Future Plans

Coming to SNHU was an amazing experience. From the second I visited this school I fell in love with it. The campus was perfect. My ideal school was something not to far away from home and something not to large, this was just the perfect school. I met so many amazing people who I can see myself staying in touch with in the future. Although I think I have decided that I may not be coming back to SNHU next year. It's hard for me to be living away at school and having a job without a car on campus. I have been saving up for my own apartment next year and it's difficult for me to pursue that being far away from home. I'll still be going to school but locally near my town. I'm wouldn't take back coming here to SNHU for the world. Its been an amazing experience but I see myself going down a different path and won't stop until I persue my goal.
